First Soaping with Fall Fragrance Samples-Strawberry Cheesecake

8/27 Made our first soap with Bramble Berry's sample fragrance Strawberry/Banana now named Strawberry Cheesecake. This was #3. Oh what fun it was. We took so many pics I'm sure Bramble Berry won't want to see all of them.

Found a way to stop getting lye burn too on my arm when my glove pulls up. I put a rubberband on it so it stays put and no more burns!!! YAY!!!!

Okay now we really wanted the colors of the soap to represent the fragrance so we chose Bramble Berry's Ultramarine Pink but decided it was too purple for what we wanted. After all who ever heard of purple strawberries? So we decided to add oh about 1/2 tsp or so of Bramble Berry's Red Oxide and we got the red we wanted! It really looks like strawberry!

Nice strawberry red!

Banana Yellow

We wanted yellow for the banana so we used Yellow Oxide from Bramble Berry. Love the banana yellow it created. We couldn't stop smelling the soap it smelled so good.

Wanted to do a swirl with them so I poured them to get it and gave a little spoon stir. Now to bed it goes while we wait to unmold it. I can't wait!

Getting the last of the strawberry out of the bowl

Oh that strawberry sure sets up fast. Makes it hard to swirl.

Ready for bed in it's mold. Strawberry Cheesecake!
